Montagne Jeunesse Passion Peel Off Review
Well folks, it is my last product review for the Holiday VoxBox. This last one is about the Montagne Jeunesse Passion Peel Off. You can learn more about this product and the many other products that Montagne Jeunesse has by checking out their website here or scrolling to the bottom of this post.
Whether you enjoy looking after your skin, being pampered, or indulging in some me-time, be it alone or with friends, you will absolutely enjoy one of these ‘Life Little Pleasures’… With a huge array to choose from, our face masques are packed with the most delicious natural ingredients and are bursting with luscious fragrances. Suitable for all different skin types, there is one to suit every mood and everybody!
I was given
the Passion Peel Off. I REALLY wanted to like this mask. I loved the smell and it honestly reminded me of the Fruit by the Foot snack that was around when I was a child. Ahh, memories.
So, I followed the directions on the package: clean, apply, relax, and peel. I followed the directions and when I started to peel the mask off I yelped in pain! I continued peeling the mask off (well, I had to because I certainly wasn't going to leave it on my face forever) and every time I peeled a section off it seemed to hurt more and more. My skin was red and irritated and the tingly sensation I'm sure was due to the burning of my skin rather than a clean sensation.

So I wanted to give my mask one more shot. I was given two free samples and I didn't want one negative interaction with this particular mask (Passion Peel Off) be the deciding factor. So, last night I tried it again. I did a lighter coat this time; hoping that a thinner layer would help with the whole "peeling my skin off thing." Well, it didn't hurt AS much, but it was still painful. Now, since I used a smaller amount I had a harder time peeling the mask off. Thirty minutes later I still kept finding pieces that I had missed. Sorry Passion Peel Off mask, you just aren't the one for me.
I am not against trying another product from this company. The mud masks sound interesting, but the peel off was not for me and my sensitive skin. Did you try the product and love it? Let me know.

Some skin types can't handle the peel off masks. I do highly recommend the regular mud pac versions, those do wonders for the skin!
ReplyDeleteAngie, thanks. I've read some great reviews about the mud masks and will be looking for them at the store.
